TMT: “There are no experts.”

This is the next entry in a Theatre… a Movie… and a Time, a series that was begun here. Returning to my theme for the month October, as a fan of monster and horror films since childhood, I thought to tie these memories within that genre. And I’ve waited to delve into this specific film for some time now. Especially, since a great deal of history lies in the attic with this one. Might as well have candlelight flare at this very moment.

To celebrate his reappearance, I thought to jot down one more of these since it was he who inspired this very line of memory posts.

Since I am in the backstretch of my Versus AFI: 10 Top 10 arc, this month looking at the Mystery genre, it’s almost now a tradition I chronicle one of its selections in this series. My #1 pick of Chinatown was one of my early entries from last year. So, it’s fitting that the next memory I record here is one that I linked with that exceptional film.

Since I am continuing my Versus AFI: 10 Top 10 arc, this time looking at the Sci-Fi genre, it was only fitting I’d chronicle another of them in this series. As mentioned in my previous post, this genre has been a big favorite since childhood. Plus, the timeliness of this film in particular, in my work and personal life, made it one that I had to covered in one form or another.

This is the next entry in a Theatre… a Movie… and a Time series that was begun here. Since he was the impetus for the TMT series, something I’ve milked shamelessly, I owe the blogger and writer otherwise known as Colonel Mortimer a lot. I also must directly credit him for giving me a chance at this particular year old memory. For without his heads-up post from last February, who knows if I’d have had the chance to purchase tickets to see something here in my hometown that hadn’t been seen, outside a coastal town in France, except by a handful.

Since I am continuing my Versus AFI: 10 Top 10 arc, this is the second of two posts on the Courtroom Dramas for February (and the only two I saw on the big screen from my top 10 list). Coincidentally, they occurred in the same month of December, 10 years apart.
