“Just when you thought it wasn’t possible to experience the Beatles’ work with fresh ears, there arrives a reminder of their power, focus and vocal skill.
As the fantastic website Dangerous Minds pointed out, a trove of a cappela recordings are floating around YouTube, featuring the voices of John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison and Ringo Starr in perfect harmony. The best of them further reveal the untapped riches still to be discovered in the Beatles archives.”
Blown away I was after giving this a listen. If you’re a fan of The Lads, then this is must-read, let alone a must-hear. An a capella sneak to whet your appetite:

Rubber Soul is my favorite Beatles album…:)

Oh, yeah. Arguably, ‘Rubber Soul’ was the start of the ‘best album’ period for The Lads. Every LP, with the exception of ‘Let It Be’ (and even it has its fans) from RS on was considered their best. I could listen to ‘In My Life’ without instruments from here to eternity. It’s that good. Thanks, Cindy.

I’m with everyone else on this one . .. . Rubber Soul is a deadset favourite also. But thank you so much for sharing this music . . . shows what true music really is, and proof that The Beatles had it.
Now can everyone please pray with me to bring Paul McCartney to Australia so I can see him live 😉 at 26 years old, I need to see a Beatle live soon enough! 🙂

Welcome and thank you kindly for the read and comment. You can’t go wrong with The Lads and Rubber Soul. I recently put a turntable back in my life, and that vinyl album was restored to its proper place on the playlist ;-). I sincerely hope you get to see Macca down under, and soon :-).
