Seasonal Cheer via Art & Song
Some in-laws sent a link our way and we enjoyed it so much I thought to share. All care of cartoonist Joshua Held, it redeployed The Drifters‘ absolutely wonderful 1954 cover (©Altantic Records) of Irving Berlin’s White Christmas to a stellar result. And yes, that’s the same song MacCaulay Culkin famously lip-synch’d in John Hughes Home Alone. Featuring the tenor of lead singer Clyde McPhatter and the bass of Bill Pinkney, the illustrator matched it up beautifully in his simple but thoroughly entertaining bit of animation, I’d say.

Whenever I hear this song it makes me think of Home Alone and that scene! Thanks for sharing and hope you and yours have a very merry christmas or whatever holiday you may celebrate. by the way I wrote a few blogs (finally!) hope you can check them out when/if you have some time.
