Who loves grilled cheese sandwiches? I DO! I’ll tell you how and what to make the best-grilled cheese sandwich in the world! The important things of a grilled cheese sandwich are, the bread, the cheese, the option of adding other food in it, and what to eat it with. The bread is the foundation of the sandwich. The cheese holds the sandwich all together. The option of adding other foods in your sandwich can make the taste of the sandwich taste better or different. The best thing to eat it with differs by the person’s taste. So now, we begin the making of your grilled cheese sandwich.

The Bread

The bread is the foundation of the sandwich. Because is the first thing you bite into. If you toast your bread, it won’t hold the butter, as well as non-toasted bread. If you want less bread and more cheese, or the other way around, get thinner or thicker sliced bread. The bread makes or breaks your sandwich.

The Cheese

The cheese holds the sandwich altogether. There are many kinds of cheese, for example, cheddar, Monterey jack, Swiss, and American. Different cheeses also differs the taste of the sandwich. The best cheese to use differs by the person’s taste. The cheese that you love should always be in your grilled cheese sandwich.

The Option of Adding Food in Your Sandwich

The option of adding other foods in your sandwich can make the taste of the sandwich better or different. Some of the things that people put in their sandwich are chicken, tomatoes, pickles, and hotdogs. Some foods you may want in your sandwich that has to be heated or cooked before you can put it in your sandwich. If you love a certain food, try it in your sandwich. Experiment with your sandwich to see what works.

The Best Thing to Eat With… You Know

The best thing to eat it with differs by the person’s taste. Most people like eating it with tomato soup, French fries or potato chips. In restaurants, when you order a grilled cheese sandwich, they give you the choice of French fries, fruit, salad or mashed potatoes. You’ll discover that different foods make your sandwich even better.

Anyone can make a grilled cheese sandwich, if you have the right bread, the best cheese, and option of adding other foods in it, and the best thing to eat it with. I’ve been cooking grilled cheese sandwiches since I was 8 years old. It’s a fun experience and tastes great. Good luck on making your grilled cheese sandwich.

Grilled Cheese Sandwich Recipe

Ingredients:
4 slices of white or wheat bread
3 tablespoons butter, divided
4 slices Cheddar or Monterey jack cheese

  1. Preheat skillet over medium heat.
  2. Butter one side of a slice of bread
  3. Place butter-side-down onto skillet bottom and add 2 slices of cheese
  4. Butter a 2nd slice of bread on one side and place butter-side-up on top of sandwich
  5. Grill until lightly browned and flip over; continue grilling until cheese melts
  6. Repeat steps 2-5

[Yields 2 Sandwiches]

    I like my grilled cheese sandwiches with tomato and sometimes bacon. Then I love to pair it with a bowl of tomato soup. Mmmmmm! Now I want one…and it’s 8 in the morning.

    Gosh, why am I suddenly aching for a grilled cheese sandwich? Those photos look so scrumptious!

    I sometimes like a thin slice of ham on my grilled cheese sandwich, but most of the time I just want dill pickles on the side (not on the sandwich, they cool the cheese down too fast).
